Meet Solara Ignis, the golden flameborn dragon:
I wanted to capture his full presence in a classic T-pose. Midway through the drawing, I experimented with a semi-realistic style, adding extra detail to his fur texture creases – hence the mix of details and toon.
To complete the character overview view, I included a close-up headshot with his maw open (very wet hehe).
And of course, As he loves golden shiny things I couldn’t resist adorning him in his beloved gold accessories – gold bracelets and rings that catch the light like living embers. They’re technically optional for him, but he’d feel incomplete without their radiant gleam.
